Cave diving, skydiving, ice climbing, American volunteers in the Middle Eastern region and Africa all seemingly do not understand the danger or they have a death wish. Why? Life is good and you don't have to live on the edge to feel alive. Go into a grocery store pick up an apple and take a big bite without washing it or something but don't risk your life. I don't get it. In honor of those who were left behind by those died so they could feel alive.

It's just what you have to do. Can't explain and you can't stop it.

So I'm a chicken shite for respecting danger and finding no solace in losing someone to a high risk recreation/vocation?

People that cave dive and sky dive and all that stuff don't want to die. They want to LIVE.

Those people who volunteer in dangerous countries do it bc they want to help others and to make a difference in other people's lives.

Some people aren't content with just sitting around and not doing shite all day besides working a desk job. That's not considered "living" to them.

Some people want their life to mean something. There is no right or wrong perception of what life is and what living should be

Life is better whilst breathing. I find many joys in life without killing myself unnecessarily in the process. Measured risk okay. But high unnecessary risk? I don't get.

You should change your avatar to something more delicate. Maybe a pretty flower or something...

Seems like an awesome way to live life.

You can sit in your house with your 9-5 and play it safe. I'll go live life and have some awesome stories to tell.

This is like an illiterate person asking why do we need books when our mouths work fine. You don't get it so quit judging others and go eat some filthy unwashed apples.

If you want to take the ride, you gotta buy the ticket.
If you want to have some kicks in life, you gotta face the danger.
Better off a dead head than a living square.
Time to get frickED UP!

What is great about cave diving that you would risk your life or ice climbing? I find golf and water sking, fishing, hunting, reading and many other things to be better forms of recreational activities. And unless it just my time, I have a very low risk of being killed in the process. I really think anyone who takes unnecessary risk is just plain stupid.

If I'm gonna die, it's gonna happen that day and I can't stop it. Why not live life to the fullest in the meantime?

I'd question how the hell people wouldn't want to explore, experience new things and people, and truly enjoy life. Seems some would rather be miserable...victim mentality
