Two totally different Corey Henrys. The one he is talking about is also a keyboard player for a band called Snarky Puppy (they are extremely talented). He played at gasa gasa last Friday. He put on a great show.

I don't know their music but I just heard that they will be recording with Charlie Hunter. Might have to check them.

So this is unrelated to Corey Henry and his funktet?

I'll surely walk into a show surprised at some point if there are two Corey Henry funk bands rolling around this city

Funktet Corey plays the trombone

Funk Apostles Cory plays keys

This is what happens when too many people are playing funk in New Orleans

Yeah, they're actually recording in New Orleans next weekend at Esplanade Studios. There was a small amount of tix released to watch them record it live, but they sold out with a quickness.

My buddy Big D Perkins is playing on that session with them. It's going to be all New Orleans themed stuff.
