I'm trying to recover some deleted e-mails.

They went through GoDaddy Office 365 Exchange account which I own, but aren't showing up on the Windows desktop regular office Outlook program or online.

Are there any tools or tips for me trying to find them either still somewhere on the desktop or Online?

Or are they basically gone forever?

If you're using Outlook, select whatever folder they're supposed to be in, and then select the FOLDER tab, then Recover Deleted Items. It may work if they've been soft deleted and not past the Exchange deleted retention date.

If you had an exchange server of your own there are several options but since it's hosted you're left with outlook recovery methods.

Recovery options in outlook will hold for 30 days by default. I've also had to use shadow copy on the OST file to bring a copy back to an earlier date and hook it up to another profile.

By default Office 365 keeps deleted items for 14 days.

Thanks. I'm way past that.
