Malik Newman visiting LSU among others

I know everyone is pretty hyped about LSU football recruiting but LSU is doing just as well if not better recruiting in basketball as of late. SG Malik Newman the #4 overall prospect just announced his 5 schools that he plans on taking official visits to. He is a long shot but hey we at least made his top 5.

we're 39th in the nation in PPG. Top 3 in the league if I were guessing..

I think we are pretty far behind Kentucky for Newman, but I do think he knows how good LSU's class is next year. It would be UK-esque with Newman in the fold.
Would love to get him, but I'm definitely not confident. Would be the most impressive pull of Jones' career. Simmons had the inside track with Godfather on staff, Newman would be because he sees LSU's potential.
