When LSU lets out, I have the summer off of work. Thinking about maybe going to one of these two for the tourist seasons (hospitality field).

Which would the OT suggest? Both areas offering good pay and lodging. Beach is from panhandle to Virgin Islands.

Do you want to slay babes? If so, the beach..

Do you want to jack off? If so, Alaska..

I would choose Alaska. The panhandle is less than a day's drive and I could visit anytime I want. I would imagine Alaska to be a wonderful experience and a road much less traveled.

I worked in Juno one summer a few years back. I'll never go back again, but it was definitely fun to have a change of pace like that. You'll never have an experience like it again.

If I had a chance to go to Alaska for a summer I'd take it. Beach city would be fun but you may not get a lot of chances to do Alaska

Don't knock masturbation. It's sex with someone I love.

I posted it because it's a good option, too.

We've got some outdoor restaurants, two of them, also have operations in Denali, Anchorage, Skagway, Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan.

Hiring drivers, rafting guides, kayak guides, canoe guides, jeep guides, hummer drivers. I don't handle the food operations.

If you want to cook, look into HAP Alaska (they have several hotels in some awesome places) or check out Coolworks.

Alaska x 100. I went on Alaska cruise last summer, that is the most beautiful scenery you will ever see. I'm trying to figure out a way to move up there.

Eta, roger what business are you in? I was in juneau, skagway and ketchican with a John Deere group summer of 2014.

What kind of experience is necessary to do something like this for a summer?

I work for one of the companies that hosted the Deere group in Juneau...

I'm the Sales Director now but switching over to Operations mgr. as soon as I can get another Sales Dir. hired.

None, we do all the training. It's a plus though. I get to train the rafting guides, kind of enjoy it. We have about 200 employees in Ak and an office in Washington.

What's the timeline on these types of jobs in terms of hiring?

Well, we like a commitment from May-Sept but we have a lot college students that just work the three summer months. Preference to those who can do the whole season.

I'm about to head out of town and hit the ski resorts from Washington to Colorado and do some recruiting.
