Mandeville / Covington / Nola - Sprint or Verizon?

Gotta move a couple phones today if I want to take advantage of a Verizon special.
What's the word on service between these two in those areas?

Sprint is terrible in Mandeville. I had to switch to ATT when I moved here because I couldn't get calls in my subdivision. I can't speak to Verizon personally but I know people who have it ans they don't complain.

Moved to Mandeville from Slidell last year. Had Sprint. Service sucked in the Mandeville area. Switched to Verizon. Never looked back. It's blazing fast and no call drops.

Thanks all... just needed a few real world examples. It's gotta be Sprint or Verizon, so Verizon it is.

the state had Att for about 12 years and switched to Verizon about 18 months ago. I switched for other issues besides coverage. In spots of I49 in sporadic areas do I have dropped calls.

Brother had Sprint in Houston and it sucked. He moved to Covington and it got worse. 1 bar 3G in his apartment and many dropped calls if he got the call to begin with. Switched to Verizon and I think he's had no issues.

Put 4 lines on Verizon tonight. We'll see how it goes the next couple days. Thanks all for the live reviews.
