I pay for 100/10 goes from modem to router. From router it goes to xbox, computer, WiFi and direct tv box. Speed test from straight from modem is 120/16. Speed test when hooked up normally it hangs around 100/10. When I speed check it from xbox one either straight from modem or router its around 50/5. Is the xbox test just off or is something else in play I'm not aware of? I have the ports set up for Xbox to take prority. Just wondering if this is normal. Thanks

isnt anything over 10/2 overkill for console? most games you go off server ping and not your speed anyway. i get i get 60/5 and had majority of east coast servers still 80-90 ping while one new york had 32 ping , and im in coastal NC.

Is the XBox on Wifi and what kind of signal strength ? I would guess your problem is there.

Upload and Download speed mean very little for online gaming. Ping is what matters.

Yes I know I'm getting plenty enough to game just wondering if the one had a speed block or something. It's hard wired not wireless. I get the higher speed for tax write off basically for my business. Just was curious.

Plug an ethernet cable straight in the back if you want to harness the full speeds of your ISP

No dude, Upload rate matters more in console gaming. Tis why Satellite internet sucks for multiplayer gaming
