Actually, in the year the Saints won the Super Bowl (2009), the Saints were called for less than the league average USC/PF penalties.
In the NFCCG vs the Vikings, the Saints had some hard hits on Favre, but they were not late.
It IS legal to hit the QB AT THE SAME TIME[/u] the ball is thrown you know.
Sounds like Vikings fans crying about hard hits, but NOT ONE HIT was late.
The Saints SHOULD have been called for the one low hit on Favre. But all it did was keep Favre out for a couple of plays. It was not an intentionaly cheap shot.

So the Saints 'haven't won shite' since 2009 ???????????????????
What about going to the playoffs the year after, in 2010, and winning 10 straight games in 2011 and getting to within under a minute of going to the NFCCG in the Dome vs NYG ?
What about going to the playoffs in 2013 and playing Seattle off their feet IN SEATTLE in Jan 2014 NFCCG ????
