I want some good baked beans this evening, something like what Podnuh's offers. I will be traveling to Denham from Madisonville for lunch in a few hours and can't think of anywhere along I-12 that offers good baked beans.

Dickey's beans are not what I'm hunting. They offer a futile dish named beans.
I refuse to purchase anything from VooDoo due to their prices. It's like one has to jerk off the dog to feed the cat after leaving VooDoo these days, plus their quality is autrocious.

Are there any good baked beans to be had along the I-12 corridor of should I forget good bbq living in South LA and save that for my trips back to the greater Mecca Metropolis?

I always forget about Wayne's. I will look them up to make sure they're open today.

I kinda like the rattlesnake beans at Voodoo. Order off the catering menu and they're $5.99/pint or $10.99/quart.
