He deserves to be in. But he's a kicker, so he's got a long battle to make it. Also, it doesn't help that there will be a lot of players becoming eligible at the peak of the NFL/player promoting of individualism. So you will see guys the NFL was promoting get in.

Yeah I know but I think its stupid. He scored more points than anyone in the NFL like was already stated. He was also the only player to score twice as many points as Jerry Rice. Not to mention they put a fricking punter in last year.

John madden saw him use different shoes in warm ups to see which was better and said he was dead to him now. Real kickers don't need to try out different shoes pregame.

it is strange to consider that the NFL seems to be just ignoring an entire position for the HOF. are they basically saying kickers arent worth it no matter their accomplishments? Mort has quite the resume.

That's true. The decision making for who gets in has become silly. I think Bettis should've had to wait. Warner should've gone in this year and def Mort.
