FBD is a Central Waters Barrel Aged Barleywine

Beautiful beer. A wonderful, deep amber color. But holy shite the nose...and then the flavor. This is outstanding. Huge thank you to my trading partner.

Easily one of the best barleywines I've had the privilege of enjoying. The barrel adds so much.

Obvious disclaimer is that it's not my favorite style. I imagine Boo would provide a much more nuanced description. But I find this one to be great.

Not far off from that Mother of All Storms we shared at my first bottle share with the BR krewe. That was another doozy of a barleywine.
