I'm all for filling up a class because you never know what next year brings, but CB at this point? If Marshall would like to be a Tiger which I doubt, he is a take. Nothing against Hill, but unless the staff is convinced LSU will not fill up or take lower rated guys to do so, this is not that big of a deal.

Tigers need DEs and LBs this year IMHO.

Yeah, there is a big difference between a top 5 player and a top 100 player at a position you already have lots of depth at. I agree with you...Marshall would obviously be a take...Hill, who cares!

I'm not saying at all that Texas is DBU, but they have put the best safety in the game into the league and Michael Griffin for Tennessee is definitely above average. Regardless, that's the only two people I can think of that Texas has put into the league from the secondary, not close to DBU.

LSU has 10 DBs while Texas has 8 in the NFL

Aaron Williams,Michael Griffin,Kenny Vaccaro,Aaron Ross,Earl Thomas,Chyckie Brown, Curtis Brown,Carrington Byndom, and Tarell Brown.

Bama has 10 also.
