Cecil and its not even close. I watched all three. I don't think people realize how good he was.

Cecil Collins. 596 yards in 4 games. Against a pretty good auburn team he had over 200 yards alone.

Cecil wasted more in the NFL, he actually got there and started, before he went psycho. Perrilloux probably could've been a first round draft pick if he hadn't fricked up so bad. While AT LSU, the clear winner is Perrilloux. He set us on the downward QB cycle we've been on ever since.

Team stats for rushing defense 1997

Akron rank 43
Miss State rank44
Auburn rank 67
Vanderbilt rank 86

Scoob you need to understand these are middle of the pack rushing defenses he ran against.

Scored only 3 TD's

Collins ran hard had 596 yards rushing in his career at LSU and 3 TD's

LSU Team rushing rank for 1997 was ranked 23rd

Collins is not a phenomenon, don't put him in the league of great athletes like Hershel and Bo or even Faulk

Honey Badger- truly had a shot at Heisman

It's true that Mathieu fricked up - BUT, he's making the most of his second chance - thus far. RP did just a little bit of back up work in the NFL - and I'm not sure any of that was outside of preseason.

Collins played a half a season in the NFL, then did a 12-year stint in real, PMITA prison.

So, Collins out of your list.

Same could be said for Collins. If you remember right, CC got in trouble in BR for the same thing he went to prison for causing NFL teams to treat him no different than RP got treated.

You can't say RP fricked up his chances because he was with the Giants.

Think about it this way, how many guys get drafted only starting four games at a college? Yes he was a phenom. Look at his performance first year in Miami

I thought he got kicked off LSU for weed.

He wouldve been drafted had he stayed at LSU, would've made him more valuable, maybe gotten a better shot than a couple years on the practice squad.

Nope. Crawled in the window of an LSU BoT's granddaughter. Big no-no.

ETA: McNeese kicked him off allegedly for weed.

Can y'all give a quick summary of Cecil?

You tube search Cecil Collins LSU. Prepare to be amazed. He had essentially two games he played before breaking his leg and his life spiraled downward afterward. Those two games against Miss St and Auburn were the most impressive performances I have ever seen. I am still pissed we lost him. He was special.

You can't use "If" statements to defend RP and not do the same for CC. If this happened then..... No matter how you shake it out, CC had a bigger and brighter future had he not been dumb
