Its still Kevin Faulk and it's not even close.

I guess you never saw Hilliard play for LSU//

If you want to say Faulk was better than Hilliard, COOL...

But saying that is not even close means your football IQ is at about a 7............

I did and I was a big Saints fan back then, as well. To be honest with you, Dalton Hilliard and Eric Martin might be my favorite LSU players of all time.

Dalton was one of those 100% effort guys - you didn't have to question whether or not he did everything he could on every play. And for a smaller, shifty guy, he kept those legs churning and ran with surprising power. He was almost the prototype for Faulk.

But, Kevin Faulk took it to the next level - I go back to that Houston game - I've never seen any non-QB, just WILL a team to win a game it seemed hell bent on losing.

How many times did Faulk fumble in that game? Its been awhile, and my memory may not be 20/20, but didn't his fumbling lead to the "hell bent on losing"?

Both were great Tigers and I appreciate the entertainment each provided for us fans.

He fumbled 3 times, losing 2. I think 1 of those was the scoop and score. Regardless - he had almost 400 all purpose yards - or about 2 good games' worth.

We also had 6 penalties for 63 yards in the game, gave up 2 sacks (recorded no sacks of our own), threw 2 interceptions (recorded no ints of our own), and forced no fumbles.

While our 3rd down defense was good (2-13) - and we forced 8 punts, a minus 5 turnover ratio (only 2 of which were by Faulk) should have meant we had no shot in the game. It was one of the flattest home openers I have seen (and we've been flat) - except for Kevin Faulk and Kenny Mixon on defense.
