4. LSU's Mickey is a forgotten big man in the SEC: If Jordan Mickey played for Kentucky or Florida, he'd be in the national spotlight. If he played for Arkansas, people would talk about him like they talk about Bobby Portis -- seriously. This 6-8 sophomore produces. Mickey is averaging 16.1 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks, has had five or more blocks in game seven times this season and 11 double-doubles. Put this kid on your radar -- immediately!

Win the next 3 and he'll get some serious spotlight going into the Kentucky game.

shite. Let's hope the rest of the SEC doesn't read CBSsports so they don't find out about him.

In other words, LSU is the place to go if a big talent wants to be an unknown. Sweet.

That's called rebuilding a program.

We're going to be getting even more love (had a lot this week) if we keep this.

Next year, we'll be in the spotlight

He will be in the NBA next year.

No way he stays at LSU if he keeps playing at this level.

Don't be so sure of that. He is a long way from NBA-ready. He's too small for the NBA until he bulks up a lot. No way he can play the 3 in the NBA. He's a great help defender in college, but he won't be able to do that in the NBA.

I don't think you understand how that is supposed to be used.

Why would I be mad about that? I explained my meaning to you

IMO, Bass was way more of a post presence offensively and a better player overall.

I would say Mikey is a combo between Tyrus Thomas and Shaq. Not on the same level as those 2 but certainly has some of the same capibilities of both.

If Mikey continues to develope that mid-range jumper (like AD ) and adds muscle, he can be a good NBA player.
