Hey LL...there is a new book out that is the prequel to the Luther tv show. My friend read it and said it gives the backgrounds of the relationships and such and actually ends where the tv show starts. It's number 3 in book queue right now.

It's called "Luther" and is written by the guy who wrote the show.

LL, or anyone from NOLA (I know you spend a lot of time there). Going to WWII Museum Saturday, and just hang out for the day. Can you give me a recommendation for a cool lunch spot maybe within walking distance of there?

That text made me cringe. And you certainly don't ask a guy that via text.

Yeeeeeah. That didn't look good as far as I can see.

Paige: Put your guard up, lady. If he truly wanted to be with you, he would be with you. He wouldn't say, "Maybe I'll change my mind later". If you want to keep him for sex and the fun, by all means.. I don't fault you for that. But don't get invested. Not unless he makes it clear it is more.

They have an old school diner set up as part of the museum. It's pretty good.
It's decorated like it was back in WW II

Even though it isn't Besh anymore, I think I heard American Sector in the museum is still good. I had it before it changed ownership, and it was very good.

Cochon and Peche are my favorites in the area.

Peche has lots of open lunch reservations, so looks like it'll be easy to get a seat. It's not expensive, but delicious. Order from the raw bar.

EDIT: LE is right. If you want easy, Cochon Butcher (separate from regular Cochon) is fantastic sandwiches.

Any chance you can get a +2? You're certainly invited to join us.

fin, Peche looks awesome, but maybe a little upscale for what we're thinking. Still might do that, but what about something more casual and yet still NOLA-ee.

I went last weekend and was only able to make it about 1/3 of the way through the new Road To Berlin exhibit so I'm ready to go back... but I doubt I'll be able to make it this weekend. I fricking love that place though... been a member the last couple years and go whenever I get a chance.

Peche is very casual. What do you mean by NOLA-ee? Poboys?

Really? I thought it was cloudy for some reason. This is good because a lot of my plans are outdoors
