You have a point about harley, but Wonder Woman is a warrior at heart. She fights with passion against her enemies and she probably fricks her lover with that same passion like a warrior as well.

this thread is joking about superman being a dick and everything
he is my second favorite. but I do get annoyed when I think about his limitless powers (he can do things in tenths of a second it takes us days to do) what an opportunity cost it is everytime he's dicking around at the daily planet, or that his highest ambition as clark kent is to be a fricking news reporter.
he's so talented he seems awesome, but he doesn't live up to his potential.

Give us an example of what you think he should do to live up to his "potential".
There are powerful people in governments and businesses that are wary of Superman with the power he has that if he tried to go above and beyond he would be seen as something like justice lord superman or injustice superman. He's perfectly content to live like us regular joes and that's what makes him amazing, he has all that power and he only uses it in service to good people. There's a reason why he trusts batman with Kryptonite should there be something wrong with him.

For one make some money. Money can do things for people he can't.
He has limitless powers, intelligence and alien technology so it shouldn't be too hard
Being a reporter doesn't put you in the thick of things. When shite goes down does it matter if he's right there or across the city, or in China for that matter. So why not use that wasted time as a reporter either being a hero even more or working towards Somehing greater
I guess I think batman would do more with those powers than he has
Imagine batman not having to lift, cardio, (or being able to do it in seconds) not having to recover, or bother with secret identities...I imagine Wayne and Kent spend equal amounts of time at their job. It's just that Wayne has to and he's running a Fortune 500. Clark kind of dicks around by being a reporter
I'm not saying he shouldn't get rest or a break, but damn...he half asses being a hero but it doesn't look like it because of what he can do and how fast he can do it

This is assuming that Batman's brutal personality when it comes to fighting evil wouldn't abuse Superman's powers. People would never tolerate Superman hiding out in the shadows and fighting the way that Batman does. The gov't would never tolerate it, see him as a time bomb and do everything they could to bring him down.
It's why Batman always says that Superman needs to be in the light and seen by humanity every day. It's better for an aw schmucks average joe to have that power than an obsessive compulsive person that has no joy in him whatsoever.
