just ordered some "cinnamon bun" flavored protein. word on the street is it tastes real good to make a batter out of it and cook up some pancakes. i need to increase my calorie / protein intake so ill be ready to go come beach season. any of you fellow gym rats make protein pancakes? got a good recipe?

If the cinnamon bun you ordered is the hand accelerated athlete you heard correctly. The stuff is absolutely delicious.

Used to make pancake with a banana and two eggs and it turned out pretty well. Adding protein probably wouldn't hurt

Pancakes sound like a great idea.

Still if think that you'd want to stay lean, these pancakes sound like a bulk meal.

I'll buy Hodgson Mill pancakes and mix it with an egg, almond milk, and coconut oil. There are worse things you can have for breakfast.

Ive tried a protein pancake where instead of a batter you use egg whites. Take some egg whites, mix in the protein powder and add anything like fruit to it and then fry it like you would an omelet or pancake. These store pretty well too so you can make a batch and use them for snacks. I didnt really care for them that much, but i might try them again and change the ingredients up a bit because they really fit a need for me.

Mix egg whites and oats until desired texture. Add a scoop of protein powder flavor of your choice (I like to mix it up). Pour it into a skillet. Its a staple in my house.

Also, if you bought dymatize cinnamon bun casein protein then solid choice

1 Cup Oats
1 Cup Egg Whites
1 Scoop Protein Powder
1tbsp Hershey Chocolate syrup (optional)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional)

Put oats in blender until it turns into a powder. Then add Protein powder and blend until it is thoroughly mixed. Then add egg whites and blend until smooth liquid. Add chocolate syrup (small amount so it won't screw with your overall macros). Then it is ready to cook. Really simple. Just had it for lunch.
