didt bother him since jordan was right there and i could bother the talent.

He was more talkative than i thought he would be...i would have taken him as a quiet person

Shaq blocked 115 his freshman year. Was he the all-time record holder at LSU after his freshman season?

Probably. When did blocked shot become an official stat in college? Rudy Macklin's stat page doesn't reflect them.

He is nowhere near Shaq, but I sure wish JM would stay another season!

After searching to find out who the Varnodo guy was, it became an official stat the very year (1985-86) The Admiral set the single season record at 207. Lucky for him.

If he were to stay another year and he kept up the same pace as this year he would end up in the mid 300s. Still very impressive compared to Shaquille.

But shaq also has less athleticism.

I attended almost every home game of Shaq's career at LSU. Even at 7'+ he was every bit as athletic as Mickey. Shaq was an in shape monster amongst boys on the court. Watch these highlights and show me where he lack any athleticism. He was incredible at LSU....incredible! (On a side note, Stanley Roberts was anything but athletic.)

Yeah right....
