I tried to tell people a month ago to chill the frick out about being ranked #17 at the time. We had 10+ less commitments than the top 10 teams. With just a few more pieces this could easily be a top 5 class. Just one or two more BIG pieces and we'll have a top 3 class. This could be a legendary finish.

Looking at the 247 rankings, LSU has 5 of the top 40 players in the country....
Which leads all schools:
LSU 5 of top 40
FSU 4 of top 40
Bama 4 of top 40
Tenn 3 of top 40
Clemson 3 of top 40
USC 3 of top 40

Yes, it is 1/4 of the composite ranking. I don't see LSU as a top 3 or 5 class TOTAL but maybe 4th ranking per player. I hear a lot of spin about only X number of players counting towards the overall team ranking...never seen evidence of it at all.

FYI demetric warren just cb'd Gibson and Holton Hill to LSU. Usually wouldn't care but he's ranked #1 in CB predictions.
