Been wanting a game that would allow you to design and play your own course for a very long time. Reviews kinda suggest this game sucks. Has anybody played it and is it worth the $35 you spent on it?

I played it for a while before Destiny came out. I enjoyed it and thought the gameplay was really fun. Not sure it's worth $35.

Is the course designer as good as I hope it is? How much control does it allow you to have in designing every bit of the holes?
