They lost a close game to a top10 team on the road. If uk played in a conference worth a shite in basketball you'd understand

Yes because UK totally didn't beat #9 Kansas, #10 Louisville, #13 North Carolina, and #19 Texas in the OOC.

Come on man.

Virginia will have a better resume than Kentucky if both teams go undefeated.

Just throwing that out there.

You play what you're given in conference. But like I said, it's not like UK didn't prove themselves against multiple Top 25 times in the OOC to compensate for the SEC slate. And two of which was against the #3 and #4 teams right now in the ACC.

Too bad there is system set up that places teams in Regionals. Honestly, Who Gives a frick…#1 seed is a #1 seed. The Yum Center will be Blue with Lebron Palace.

Kentucky was great in the non conference and is the title favorite for sure. It's still pretty absurd that teams in the acc and big 12 have like 7 or 8 conference games harder than Kentucky. And Kentucky fans don't need to take that personally because it's out of everyone's hands.

SEC is not as bad as people make it out to be, though.

Should get 4 or 5 teams in.

What's the difference between the Big Ten and the SEC? Both leagues have one good to great team at the top, with a bunch of decent teams trailing behind who can't decided who is second best.

Yes, I think the Big Ten is better (and probably has higher RPIs and stuff), but not by that much.

The SEC is deeper than usual, too. It's really not that bad.

ETA: Indiana might be the 3rd or 4th best team in the Big Ten. And I can tell you from watching them a lot, they are not that good.

This bitch.

But are you seriously ragging on Duke's OOC schedule? It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. Sparty and Stanford should be tournament teams. Beat Wisconsin at the muhfrickin Kohl Center, which is the best win of any team in the country so far. Beat the defending champs (it's true, even if they suck). And then the ACC schedule. Duke hasn't lost to a team who won't be in the NCAA tournament. It's been a tough string of games. It's not even February yet, these dudes have time to work the kinks out, they're super young. All it takes is getting hot at the right time.

And I know you're just poking fun at Duke. I would be angry too if I was 1-7 against Coach K.

Eh, the SEC is probably a little undervalued given how tough some of their teams play at home (see Arkansas at Bud Walton for example). Now whether that's dictated by shitty SEC officiating or what is a whole other matter. I don't think it's any coincidence the handful of SEC teams that do tend to make the tournament make some decent NCAA runs because they're a little undervalued due to inconsistency in the OOC early in the season.

The SEC is awfully mediocre. Arkansas might finish 6th-8th in the ACC.

My bulldogs are tourney bound for sure, but that's definitely part of the point. Kentuckys toughest game left is probably @uga. In fact, that is probably Kentuckys toughest conference game all year. That's laughable compared to what big 12 and acc teams have to do.
