Yes. My wife and her entire family think 80 degrees in the house is comfortable.

Wife, wintertime : Heat can go up to 80 @
and she'd be fine.
Wife, summertime : AC can't run hotter than 71 or she's too hot.

No, we have similar complimentary preferences. I have about a 10 degree window in which I'm fine as long as it stays there.
