My brother keeps up with the local sports more than I do but not a surprise to people in TX. Prime Prep is being dechartered as a school...end of Prime Time's little baby after 3 years or so. Of course some noted alumni are LSU basketball player Jordan Mickey and current football prospect (committed to Louisville) Brandon Martin. Sounds like the school might be allowed to finish this school year but that is it.

And some of you noted the competition B Martin played against in his highlights and how the opponents looked 1 foot too short or something. Well, when the Texas UIL forbid them to play Texas teams and had to play JVs or whatever in other states, that is your answer as to the appearance of opponents in those videos. For the record, I still think Brandon Martin can be a big time WRer but good luck on him being eligible...as people know from the Mickey situation, their credits have never exactly been backed by gold.

Sounds like it never had a chance to begin with...

Prime Prep athletics had an initial setback in its first year when the program was unable to field an eligible football team based on the rules of the University Interscholastic League (UIL), which governs interscholastic activities of public schools (including charter schools) in Texas.[5] It had recruited significant portions of existing championship teams[6] and "league hopping" athletes.[7] After the issues were worked out, the school had problems finding opponents for their football team.[8] Ultimately Prime Prep would withdraw from the UIL and participate as an independent program.

The school was accused of racism and influence peddling.[9][10] In December 2013, Sanders pressured cofounder D.L. Wallace, a local minister, out of the leadership of the schools[11] over accusations of fraud[12][13] and assault.[14][15][16] Shortly afterwards Sanders was fired from his head coach position,[1][17] sparking an attempt by the school board to oust the superintendent who had fired Sanders.[18] The school then received further negative press for violations of the state's board meeting laws,[19] theft,[20] eviction,[21][22] and staff members failing to follow established policies.[13] The school was featured in local news coverage again in 2014 for failing to hold open meetings[23] and ranked as the lowest performing elementary school in North Texas as judged by Children at Risk.[24] In July of 2014, it was announced that the Texas Education Agency was going to revoke the school's charter for inconsistencies with the National School Lunch Program and fiscal mismanagement to which the school responded that they were going to appeal the decision.. Yep. And I bet all the money and equipment given to the school will go unaccounted for.
