AV Experts: 3.5mm to RCA Male from Scarlett 2i2 to M-Audio AV30s

I have a pair of AV30s that I am running through my Scarlett 2i2. The monitors came with a 3.5mm to dual RCA male connectors, but I only get audio from the left speaker when I use this cable. The monitors don't have any other inputs except for a front Aux in port.
I can't run a 3.5mm instrument cable as the monitors only have RCA inputs.....any thoughts?

I think you have to run a speaker wire from the left to the right. you've done that correct?
