I think the requirements are that the Netflix movie must either:
A) have come out prior to 2006; or
B) have achieved a 6.0 or less on IMDB

What sucks is we are entering the dead period for movies in general. Oscar hopefuls have come and gone and the next couple of months is when Hollywood unloads it's crap before blockbuster/summer season.
