Both were beaches near Fort Bragg, California(3 hour drive north of San Francisco). Area was GORGEOUS and the perfect place for our dogs to first experience a beach/ocean.

I'd love to take my border collie to a beach. She loves to swim. Every time I take her to the farm she spends half the day swimming. My Aussie is not a water dog.

Yeah the two pictures of them on the beach perfectly illustrate their reactions. The lab mix was in HEAVEN and you could just see the joy on his face in that pic as he was running up and down the beach and into the waves. The pug...yeah you see him keeping his distance. First time a wave hit him he freaked out and didn't really want to get back in the water after that

We literally cannot take the poodle on a walk in public places bc everyone wants to stop and pet him and ask questions. The golden is our pride and joy, though.
