Plans to stay stored in this for ~6 weeks. If the storage unit door stays shut 99% of the time, any reason to worry about the ammo? Longest it will be in there is until late March so high heat shouldn't be an issue. I know humidity is a factor but this isn't very long term. Think it will be fine?

Where is the facility? Also, what unit will you be storing it in? The ecact # is needed to properly store ammo.

You must be as specific as possible.

so excuse me for doing my due diligence for a fellow OBer

Remember, tots.. you must be as specific as possible.

U.S. military ammo is stored and transported under all kinds of horrific conditions. If this was going to be a multi-year situation, I might be concerned enough to re-seal it in ammo cans with dessicant, but this wouldn't concern me at all - and I'd trust the ammo would be good years from now, even after this blip. Heck, I have sealed ammo cans on the floor of a closet. Do I want to get it off the floor? Sure. If I don't, the ammo will shoot just fine 10, 15 years from now.

It could probably stay in there for 20 years and shoot fine

Haven't ever stored ammo exposed to outdoor humidity so I wasn't sure. Appreciate the info

If you are concerned put it in sealed ammo cans and add a desiccant pouch

You can't store that inside anywhere? It takes up about the size of a large brick. You have to have somewhere you can put it

that was a joke for the guys who think I have enough ammo to fill a house. It may be a little more than 110 rounds
