If the following happened with, say, Deandre Jordan:

We would have seen 50 bench reaction shots on ESPN, there would have been 7000 memes and gifs created, etc etc.

We need that elite bench guy that the camera always goes to. We need his reaction to say "Yes, I am not a good player, but omg look at me do the robot after my guy dunks. Savage!"

One player away people. One player away.

I googled him and the best reaction gif/video collection I found was on a link to Tiger Droppings.

So your saying we need more colored people on the bench?

Never noticed this as being a particularly racially specific phenomenon. The link to the Seton Hall white guy above is quite good. Especially the sledge hammer.

Bobby Brown was probably my favorite towel guy. He was always into it. It was great. He could also randomly get hot and light up garbage time.

Jimmer and Luke must have killed Monty's puppy. They rarely get minutes

Because Tyreke was trapped on the baseline and AD was surrounded. If that was any other person on the planet in the lane the pass to make is probably back out to Wolters.
