I hate to get into this, but I must. NFL obviously came down hard on the Saints for ONE reason only, $$$$$$$$$$$$

They ran through every hit of every game that season, and compiled video montages for us to see. Everyone in their right mind agrees that none of those videos suggested any "intent to injure", not a single dive to the knees, stomping after whistle, suicide helmet-to-helmet, etc. What was found during that season was simply aggressive defense.

Pissed off is foul language? Jeeeez.

Second of all, if you lived near the corner of Burbank and Lee with all this construction, you'd be pissed off too

Oh, and to show how not pissed off I am at this, here's a funny picture.

I personally think that line is huge if you arent a dumbass. Browner for the patriots said yesterday he is going to tell his teammates to abuse Shermans arm and hope he gets knocked out the game.... Thats football. Twisting an ankle or stomping on an ankle isnt. That is a very clear line

To me it is a clear line between exploiting and cheap shots. But I still think all fall under the "intentional injury" category. Back in the day I wouldn't think as much of it, but it's a new world now.

Whether intentionally trying to take someone out of the game by causing a physical impairment is part of football is an open question.

I wonder if the Patriots bag was specifically designed to hold balls in a horizontal position rather than vertical. That way the inflation chambers would be easily accessible for quick air release without ever leaving the bag.

you post that picture, but it is your side that is using far more mental gymnastics. Strange you would post that

You're accusing a guy, in 90 seconds, to deflate 11/12 balls in a bathroom.

I dont think that sounds all that difficult. Hell, I can let out 1 psi in all four car tires in about 10 seconds

Again, assuming they had it planned out, and rehearsed, this would actually be fairly simple. The kid probably could have taken a piss and deflated the balls in 90 seconds.

How long does it take to deflate a single ball? A few seconds if the guy knows what he's doing? 90 seconds is more than enough time.

If I were the one tasked with this, I would've timed myself to see how quickly I could deflate to the desired pressure. I'm sure he took the same measures.

A dubious explanation that has been debunked.

no it hasn't. It has been backed up by more scientists than the 2 i've seen 'debunk' it: BIll Nye and NDT. Bill nye offered no explanation other than to say belichick's explanation didn't make sense as he cheered on the Seahawks. And NDT's math has been questioned by a few people that claim he made a simple error.

Is this some impossible task?

Pats will do whatever it takes to win. That much is clear. Where do they draw the line? Drug test doctoring? Bribed refs?

They should get the footage of the whole year (or at least as long as possible) from all the Pats home games. See if this guy takes a piss every time.

He clearly needs a prostate exam.
