His D is pretty complex. Might work better at the NFL level. I don't think he's all that great though.

Hope Grantham decides to stay at Louisville. He did a great job with our defense. Would be a blow

As a Raiders fan, I wouldn't hate the hire. His system may be great for the NFL, and Del Rio is going oversee anything defensively and call a lot of the shots anyways.

Franklin got in the face of UGA safety Shawn Williams after the game, so Grantham got in Franklin's face to get him to back off.
As a UGA fan, I had my issues with Grantham, but scheme and designing blitzes wasn't one of them. His playbook was way, way too complex for college football players who don't have 40 hours a week to learn it. He could be a good NFL DC, and Khalil Mack could be a fricking monster in his system.
