This is mine and the viewing angle sucks. Too high because the room isn't big enough. Good thing I'm moving.

Most new houses around here are built/wired for TV over the fireplace. I have watched with friends who have it mounted that way, and I don't like it, but I look around the room and seldom see any good alternative given the way they design the living areas.
