Tip Stiff Weekly......
Want to stop slicing? Want to gain more N1TRO? I have one drill that helps with both.
Grip ur club(8-9 iron) with your lead hand(left for right handed golfer and hit punch shots with only that hand on the club. Do not take a full swing. Take about midway between full and halfway.
The key to the drill is swinging about 70% of ur normal power and getting the ball to hook. Keep doing this until you can hook every shot you hit with the lead hand. You want to keep your weight shifting and lower body work the same as your normal swing. Focus on how ur shoulders feel and where they are at impact. Also focus on ur wrist at impact and feel where you release the club.
Doing this will do two things. It will teach you to hit a draw and it will help you gain club speed by getting your wrist and shoulders at the right position to release the club with more power.
