I currently keep some extra cash in a Capital One 360 account that pays .75 these days.

Is there a good no fee, reliable place to earn more interest on extra cash in an account or CD of less than one year?

Willing to put 50 to 100 K in to get a good rate.

If you are already maxing out your ROTH and have plenty invested, use it to travel or buy a motorcycle. Can't take it all with you.

For a savings account, that's about as good as you'll get. I've seen some accounts offer 1-ish, but nothing much more. CDs are an option for a slightly higher return, could stagger them for options of maturity.

I keep mine in a CapOne 360 as well, but funnel excess into my Sharebuilder account.

I looked on bankrate, and Ally Bank at .99% APY for an online no-fee savings account was the best looking deal.

Is Ally legit? Any hidden catches I am not seeing?
