Somewhat surprised to see us as a 3 point underdog. We've historically played poorly at Vandy and they did play well at UK but was assuming it would eseentially be a pick'em or us as a slight favorite given we've won our last two road games.

What does the rant think?

I think it is about right. Winning two on the road in the SEC is hard to do. It is ok if we drop this one. Have to win our upcoming games (especially at home and @ MSU)

Not surprised at all. Expected +2 but +3 isn't a stretch.

I as shocked at +11 to Florida. I thought it should have been 6-7 not 10-11/...

And for the gamblers out there, LSU is 3-0 when the underdog. If I was going to take LSU in this one, I'd be playing the money line.

I didn't see the money line posted for the LSU UF game, which I gladly would have taken at +400 or whatever it would have been.

Not surprised at all. I think this is an important game for LSU. At this point probably only UGA of the SEC teams LSU has played has a shot at the dance. 3-3 is not impressing anybody.

sure as hell isn't as surprising as the Fla line, but i think we handle business saturday regardless.

Gross. I guess they knew something was up with where I play since they didn't post it. I texted my buddies suggesting they look at that game considering LSU can play with just about anyone when they're motivated to do so. Couple that with a down UF team with a few home losses already made that a juicy line. That's my opinion at least.

I texted my betting buddy and told him it was my pick of the year... Not the money line, but I didn't see LSU losing by double figures. They haven't lost by double figures all year... And Florida hadn't beaten a top 75 team all year...

Agreed. I had 'em to cover, but would have thrown smaller on the ML if I had it available to me. I like LSU + anything against Vandy, but not as much as the UF Game since I think LSU has trouble getting up for games that they don't perceive as important.

I do think the fact that people talk about how tough it is to play at Vandy will help this team. They won't look at records as much as playing against Memorial Gym.

Hey, SOS. Why'd you pick LSU to win?

And why have you been avoiding baseball talk?

I think the Florida game showed the players that if they attack the rim, they will be successful. I think they won't fall into the luls they have in their losses this year. I think Vandy is so young and will struggle against LSU's defense. Overall, I could see LSU really taking care of business similar to the Florida game.

I haven't been actively avoiding baseball stuff. However I was busy at work lately and I've been doing a lot of basketball research in my free time.

I hope you're right, but your prediction scares me.

Understandable.

Your surprised and think we should be favored because we play poorly @ Vandy? I'm so confused by that statement

Just providing my thoughts on reasons why the line would favor Vandy(we've struggled there historically, road games are hard, Vandy played well at UK) but that overall I would've thought we would be a slight favorite.
