Need some good ideas for a vacation spot for a reunion weekend

8 of us, all guys, are trying to plan a vacation/reunion of sorts. We've been great friends for years, but recently all graduated college and are spread throughout the country.
We're wanting to meet up in a really fun city. Popular suggestions are Miami, Nola, Vegas, San Diego, Denver. We haven't really narrowed it down, open to anything. We'd prefer to be on the beach though. Just looking to see if anyone has had particular experiences in a city that you think a bunch of 22-25 year old guys would have a blast with and recs on places to stay or things to do.

Vegas would be great but one of my buddies lives there so he's adament about going somewhere else.

Miami is where alot of us want to go but I have no clue what the area is like. Would like to find a condo or house on the beach that's very close to some really good bars and nightlife.
