How much off of list price should I expect on a used truck?

I haven't bought a vehicle in years, so I want to be sure I'm not going in with unrealistic expectations. If I'm looking at a truck with a stick of about 25K what should I reasonably expect to pay?
This might be a dumb question with so many factors involved, but dealing with car salesmen the past few days has been a headache.
If it matters, I have a small trade in (2k max) and I'll put about 10K down.

Here's what I do to determine a fair price:
1) go to cars.com and search for the same truck. Search a radius of 500 miles. Get specific. Mileage, option packs, everything. Then sort from cheapest to most expensive.
2) for older cars ebay motors is a good reference. You can search recently completed auctions to see accurate selling prices. This won't work as well for a newer truck.
Or just ask for $6k off and see what happens.
When I bought my Yukon I emailed the dealer an offer through cars.com. I noticed it had been in their inventory for months, and had been moved from their GMC store to their Honda store. I asked for about $4k off ask and they accepted through email. Went down to Alexandria later that day.
