Why is hip hop/rap less territorial now than back in the day?

NWA, Dr. Dre, Snoop, 2-Pac all claimed west coast during their heyday

Mobb Deep, Nas, Biggie, Wu Tang all claimed east coast during their heyday

Outkast, Goodie Mobb, T.I., Jeezy claimed ATL

Geto Boys, Scarface, Tela claimed Houston

And of course, Mystikal, Cash Money and No Limit claimed NOLA

Which present day artist claims their hometown? And if so, why is it so less pervasive than it was in the 90's?

Globalization of hip hop in general.

What started as a small niche genre blossomed into a multi billion dollar industry.

And tons of artists still claim their homes, more than i care to list.
