And these big farm in ARK pay Mexicans to run through their field when it get freezing. I ask one farmer why he doesn't get bubbler and he says he likes traditional method and labor is cheap he just doesn't want break ice himself. We should ban these cheap Mexican ice eaters before they stop mallards from migrating to LA

I refuse to believe that eliminating surface drives makes drastic long term improvements to the marsh. There are a ton of other factors that come into play.

You obviously haven't seen what they are capable of doing to the marsh. I have changed the hydrology of a marsh in just a few hours of running a combo of mud boat and pro drive. it may not make drastic improvement, but it will for sure slow the rate of erosion.

What the heck were you doing? I've run through shallow water but never much more than just passing through. Perhaps people get into tearing stuff up, but I try to go from point A to be B, even in a mud boat, without tearing anything up.

Unless of course you're talking about tearing salvania up, but frick that stuff

Subsidence is the real issue at hand with the marsh degradation. Fact of the matter is that until our government gets its chit in gear with a gameplan nothing of any consequence is going to change. Just too large a problem. Seems to me that one day in the not so distant future we're going to end up with a handful of segregated marsh areas in south LA in the delta areas where sediment is being deposited. All areas in between will be huge shallow water bays.

The duck agitation is a separate issue. They should just implement rest areas or limited access areas within these wmas as already stated. If you want to pirogue 3 miles to the inner core to find the birds then go for it. If you want to run a mud boat to a spot with far less birds then go for it.

I think it's pretty safe to assume all of your statements are completely unsupported by any sort of quantified data.

Where'd you get your environmental science degree?

Is the issue that people are running across actual marsh grass? Or mud flats? Shallow lakes inaccessible to outboards?

That's my question. Because as someone else stated. Biloxi marsh has plenty of deep water running through it. Id be okay with a compromise of keeping the surface drives out of shallow ponds and in the main passes. But a surface drive in 5+ foot of water isn't going to do more or less damage than an outboard
