What I just described to you is the exact situation on a very large WMA in South LA. Can any of you honestly think of this situation and tell me that mud motors have not had a negative effect on public land duck hunting in a marsh style setting as was previously described?

It happened to Baptiste Collete (public land across from Venice) and pass a loutre to a degree also. Mudboats don't let the birds rest. One of the reasons I like the delta NWR in venice. Only can hunt until noon and no mud boats/go Devils/gator tails. That area also happens to hold more ducks.

Is this official? I always use an outboard in Biloxi marsh. usually have an hour run with an outboard, can't imagine with a mud motor.

Say I'm on WMA deer hunting, but some people hunt wood ducks on it. Are you saying I shouldn't be able to use a mud boat to get to where I'm deer hunting? Or is everyone just butthurt about marsh stuff.

And what if I wanted to bowfish at night during duck season?

Such as?

I refuse to believe that eliminating surface drives makes drastic long term improvements to the marsh. There are a ton of other factors that come into play.

As for ducks. No one has mentioned changes in climate or farming practices as factors in the hunting here. Certainly the influx of hunters applies far more pressure than ducks have previously seen
