Baseball Keeper Trade

10 team auction league.
At the end of last season I proposed a trade that almost broke apart our league and I just wanted the board's opinion on it, looking back.
I would have given up Jose Abreu($4), Todd Frazier($1), and $10 in the 2015 draft.
I would have received Miguel Cabrera($47), Cano($28), Price($20), Hamels($9)
In regards to last year, it was a very lopsided trade, but in terms of the keeper value or future value of the players involved, I felt like it could be justified.
This trade was vetoed, but we abolished keepers and some in the league are referencing this trade when talking about not playing this year.
Any opinions?

I don't have a problem with it because if I was rebuilding, I'd want Abreu and Frazier for super cheap. Miggy for 50 bones would be nice to unload.

Well, like you said, it's not a redraft league. You have to treat things differently in keeper/dynasty leagues. Dollar amounts matter when rebuilding.

You also giving him value Hamels and Price for 1 player with value(although the best value) is what throws it off besides the competitive advantage the other team is receiving for that single year is what makes it a bad trade from a league perspective...
I think bad trades are part of the game and rarely(I don't believe I ever have actually) would I down vote a trade but in this case I would strongly consider...
