My gal got the box set of season 1-3, I've seen 2 episodes so far and they were enjoyable, kind of a west wingish, type pace - obviously not in that ballpark, but I was just curious if others had watched it and what they thought...

I hate Olivia Pope and her sanctimonious bullshite.
My SO used to watch it b/c she liked the fashion Kerri Washington wears but she also eventually grew tired of everyone being an a-hole on that show.

It has no shortage of critics on here.
I like it. It's not some masterpiece TV series but it fills the time. And yes the women do like it so it's always a good conversation starter.

It's not a bad show. It's just very geared towards women.
It's honestly gonna be one your best options of shows you can watch together that she loves. Better than a lot of other shite.
I stopped watching just because I didn't really care. But it wasn't horrible by any stretch. I believe it's the same lady that makes greys anatomy. So it's got that sex and twist and turns element to it.

If it's a show you get brownie points for watching with her, you certainly can and have watched worse. But it's definitely a chick show, there will be lots of crying and relationship issues.
