I liked what the game announcers said about Mickey's statements about how hard and long Hornsby is practicing. Coming in early, staying late, sometimes two hours late, to work on his game.

Thus rubs off on the whole team. Regardless of their talents, Coach Jones has some great kids with solid character, and so someone like Hornsby really helps everyone even more.

Hornsby is a straight baller. If he misses a shot, he immediately rushes to the other side of the court and makes a play, or he will jump over everyone to get the offensive rebound to extend the drive. Easily my favorite player on the team.

High energy tonight, kept running off his screens, making sure to get ahead of the break and look for the ball, quick to help inbound and help break press,etc..

Anyone have a picture of Hornsby saying something to the Florida students after he hit that last shot?

I noticed Hornsby turn to the stands and say something. Would like to have heard what the gaytor fans had been saying to him. Guess he showed them "scoreboard".

He works his arse off on defense. That is a big reason for LSU's last to road wins. He helped make sure that Moody (OM) and Fraizer (UF) didn't go off for big nights against LSU

Hornsby has been one of the big surprises. I didn't know what to expect since he transferred from a smaller program. He is a lot quicker and athletic than I expected. I expected a guy who would play because of his shooting skills. He does a great job on defense and drives to the basket with the best of them. He's also made some excellent passes on the break.
