I couldn't get into to W@W because of the attachments to WWII era weapons that totally killed the feel for me.
I liked W@W a lot. It was a simpler game back then with less "shite".
Remember how nice it was in CoD4 to ask a teammate if they had a UAV for the air strike or chopper gunner? It was fricking amazing. It wasn't about kill whoring and jump strafing and throwing laser grenades. It was some dudes with some guns coordinating to take flags. Now, I did like when I got a streak and it felt good to get a bunch of kills, but at least they sort of meant something.
I guess I'm too old for this now.

WaW was the first multiplayer game I every played. I went back and got COD4 and played it.
In WaW, the MP40 was the tits. The Thompson was pretty good. The MP40 was like a chainsaw in Asylum.
