It was a bad transition for all the 13/14 year old snipers who loved getting nukes in MW2, Blops 1 forced me to transition out of campy sniping and to rushing with the Brolympia

CoD 2 & 3 blows the rest of your list, minus maybe 4, out of the water. But that was a simpler time.

people hated tanks in WAW, because if you controlled the tanks, you could shred the other team to bits, because no one would arm themselves with satchel charges or bazookas. And the sticky grenade only did marginal damage.
WAW had the best maps in the games history. You had large maps, medium maps, and small, slaughter house maps.
if you want a great campaign, buy COD2 or WAW. both are f'in great, and are long, none of this 2 hour and it's done bullshite.

No shite. That is easy to get used to. About half way through, you don't even notice it. What most people don't like is there are not claymore type lethals, and you can't climb ladder, put down a betty/claymore and camp the high ground.
The hit detection is good, the movements are fluid, and there is really only one bad map, IMO.
