In 2010/2011, we had Reid, Peterson, Mathieu, Claiborne, brooks, and Simon. Maybe the greatest group of college defensive backs ever assembled

Brandon Taylor was a great SS.

I love that from the former Tigers. Most are great at this...a few not so much.

Maybe, but a group that had Sean Taylor, Philip Buchanon, Antrel Rolle, and Ed Reed on the field at the same time may disagree

As is their right. But I'd have to go with the LSU group based on early returns. 3 first round picks and would have been 4 if TM had not screwed up royally. And their pro-production as a whole is already note-worthy with some big years to come. I think MC makes a big comeback from his injury also.

Or maybe Ronnie Lott, Joey Browner, Dennis Smith, and Jeff Fischer. One hall of famer, 14 all pro 1st team selections, 22 pro bowls, and a Super Bowl coach.

I love the LSU group, but gonna be hard to beat this USC group.
