We are young but I don't understand why Matta is sticking with Amir.

Either Amir or nothing. McDonald and Lee are worse than Amir which is scary.

We can play small ball alright but that's not gonna cut it in the B1G.

I think Russell makes a mistake going pro. He's a good slasher but really inconsistent.

We'll see. He needs another year. But our bigs suck do he might as well go pro

Wish we could have kept Russell home. We could have used his scoring.

The B1G is very average this year after about a 6 year run of being arguably the best conference in the country. Outside of Wisconsin and Maryland...everybody is average. I will say that the league is young though. The best players in the conference are mostly freshman. So i wouldnt expect the B1G to be down for long.

Speaking on Ohio State. Im really worried about where the program is headed. Matta has been an excellent coach. He has made Ohio State a top 15 coaching job. However, i feel like his health is starting to take its toll on the program. After we lose Scott, Thompson, Williams, McDonald, Lee and D Russ (NBA)....the team we have coming back next year is scary bad. The next recruiting class has dropped from 3 to outside the top 10 (something is up with Mitchell). Overall, im just very concerned with where we are going.

Next years potential starting 5:

Kam Williams
Ja'sean Tate
Kata Bates-Diop
Marc Loving
Daniel Giddons?

That has the potential to be a bottom of the league team. Anybody else agree?

I completely agree, this furthers my point though regarding our talent level. Even though they suck, we still lose their experience. Again, i hope im wrong, but it feels like we are seeing the beginning of a decline.

I would happily give up basketball if the conference can be a top conference in football again

I don't care if OSU misses the tourney, we won the Natty in football

Marc Loving needs to get better.

And we need scorers, And a point guard in the next class. Along with a big or two that don't have a vagina.

You mean our 5'8" PG coming in next year. This class coming in is worse then this years FR. Matta missed on all the top recruits in the state.
