I dont really care about that, but i did like this part

That smile may be the closest we'll come to an endorsement from the hands-off creative consultant of J.J. Abrams' forthcoming sequel, as the two directors apparently haven't spoken much throughout the making of "The Force Awakens."

He had a cool quote a while back about being excited to experience Star Wars as a fan instead of a creator moving forward.

He sold it and gave it up.

Why would he be mad or disgruntled at JJ?

I dont think he is mad at anyone, it has to be hard to see something you created in the hands of someone else.

he's a consultant

and he's honestly probably pretty important to the project in lending his vast knowledge of what's canon and what's not

As badly as he f*cked up the canon in the prequels -

George Lucas is such a hack. I guess that sentence doesn't have anything to do with the topic, but man he sucks.

Lucas ain't mad. he's actually just a weird dude. he really don't care one way or another. the new movies are based on a treatment he wrote. the scripts and details are obviously being shaped by Mike ARdnt (1st draft), JJ and Kasdan (finals) but its not like he had nothing to do with these new ones.

He's just not the kind of guy who will ever come across as excited about anythying

And dewbacks, we need more dewbacks. Make sure there's storm troopers riding them too.

And if we're not having a fakey, cartoonish, incomprehensible CGI scenes with lots of fast random action, then we should have a green/blue screen sequence with 2 to 3 characters walking down a corridor talking - or sitting on a couch, talking.

But, don't have competent acting in these scenes, just very wooden delivery of lines while walking/sitting and talking. Because if we had good acting in other parts of the films, it would make Hayden Christensen look bad. I mean - away from these films, Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, Christopher Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, etc. have critically acclaimed performances. In these films, it would have been no worse to CGI all these characters, and have voiceovers from one of those automated voice answering machines and/or Siri.

Ewan McGregor is the only actor who overcame the writing, directing and producing.

Why weren't the first 2 movies about him, with the third being about Vader?

I'm reading a biography of George Lucas it's badass. It's called Mythmaker.
