NFL has become almost unbearable to sit through in person because of the commercial breaks in play that have screwed up the entire experience and costs you a time investment that's ridiculous. Plus you can see a football game better on television.
NBA, other than the last two minutes, at least flows better and has less wasted time. Plus it's far better in person than on television, imo.

Also, the soap opera that is the NFL off season is growing old.
