I think Tega will actually decide after NSD, as he should being this early in the process. Nobody knew who this kid was until a few weeks ago, hopefully he is advised to take his time with the decision.

Don't buy that for a second. Phillips was the one on this twitter page that said "At least Haley is still at LSU" with a cool face as if it didn't hurt LSU's chances. Obviously that was right after Chavis left and Haley was still "In the running as DC."
Recruit speak is all that was. Phillips was never coming to LSU.

Yes, like you in such a short time Ed O has made quite an impact with several recruits, esp. on the DL where there's just one commit so far and it's needed.
We can't take it for granted the Tigers will land everyone that visited last weekend, but the chances look much better than they did before to land a few of the uncommitted players and that is not possible without Coach Orgeron's outstanding efforts.

He reclassified about a week or two ago, same as Chidi Okeke.
For the 2016 class, he was widely regarded as an elite potential recruit and one of the top DE recruits in the country

Not necessarily a package deal would be great to have them both though. Price come in and compete for time immediately plus who was the first people knocking on his door after dead period ended? Us!

We have 3 things in our favor.
Decent players now and a great class to choose from next year.
Also a great coach that knows how to develop talent.
If we miss here it's not the end of the world.
Everything else this year is a bonus.
